Jonathan R. Beno

Jonathan has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Fine Art (B.A.F.A) from
the University of New Mexico with an emphasis in art history
and the studio arts. He is an Indigenous artist who is strongly inspired by the natural world.

Jonathan has been drawing and painting since childhood. His passion for art and creativity led him to study art history where he developed a strong appreciation for surreal, abstract, and impressionist works. He identifies many of his works as fantasy expressionism and surreal mindscapes. These styles are tied into each of his works. The themes seen in his art are intentionally diverse as his work is inspired through these styles along with his love of nature, inner thoughts, experiences, and dreams.
